Featured DishAsian Sesame Oysters
The Taste Buds first tested our Asian Sesame Oyster recipe at the Washington D.C. Mardi Gras Ball in 2005. They came up with the dish to help support the Louisiana Oyster Task Force and promote Louisiana oysters. It was a huge hit at the party and when all was said and done The Buds had served over 5,000 oysters to the D.C. crowd. When we kicked off our seafood promotion, putting the oysters on the menu was a no brainer. We are asked often why we don’t serve this dish year round and it’s because we want to serve oysters at their peak. During the spring months they are truly at the height of availability and quality.
